One of my best friends Alissa Allen. Isn't she is absolutely gorgeous? (and was Homecoming Queen in High School who married her High School Sweetheart) So sweet! These pics are from her wedding I did, brace yourselves......10 years ago!!!! She is still happily married and her and Curtis just celebrated their 10 year in June. Congrats you two! So here is Proof that I've been doing this for a loooooong time....and even though they are a little dated.....I love them!!!

Here are some pics from a recent wedding I did Saturday. This was a fun group of girls and everyone opted for more dramatic looks. We went with grey tones....the girls all wore black. The brides makeup was much lighter (more browns and pinks) when we did her initial consultation, but she decided she wanted a look more like what I'd done for her bridesmaids and so we changed it up that day. It was fun and I did it in just under 3 hours and I had plenty of time to do some touch ups and take some pics too, so I'm very pleased with that! My camera isn't great with capturing the looks very well....but here's an idea of how some fo them turned out. Good times! :)

I just love the colors she used in her wedding. So beautiful and definately non-traditional too! She is a beautiful girl and I enjoyed doing her makeup.

This was a documentary film that I worked on and was asked to do "Natural" makeup on the 6 people featured and interviewed in the film. There were some really great people that I got to work with and get to know a little bit. This was also the first time I worked on men. What an experience! The man in the first pics actually has a severe case of Rosacia and we successfully concealed the redness. Can't tell at all! That felt really good! I know he really appreciated it and it boosted his confidence significantly regarding being on film. This was a fun and really looooong day!

This is my friend Jen Kajma. We were testing out the camera and just playing around. But I loved the before and afters and so I decided to post them! Aren't before and afters so fun? She is a beautiful Momma too. I love the Kiss Kiss pic. Aren't pics of Mommas loving their babies the best?

I posted these pics of my little Savy at her Dance Photo Shoot. Unfortunately I'd been busy with my baby Brookelyn at the time and didn't realize that her lipstick had worn off just before! Oh well!

My friend Julie Ellington in AZ. We did this for fun. Just a little "Mom Makeover". Keeping it more natural and everyday Momma glam. She is a beautiful girl! We wished we'd had her hair done too for a more dramatic before and after. You'll just have to use the imagination!

Welcome to My New Blog!
It's been an issue getting some pics up on the blog and I apologize that there are so few to view. One of these days I will get this thing looking good! But for now, I hope you enjoy what you see. And of course feel free to leave a question or comment if you'd like.
Not a Photographer :)
I have to post this reminder that as you view these pics, keep in mind that I am a makeup artist and not a photographer. Oh how I wish I could get an amazing photographer to shoot some of my work! I will try and work on that!
Some Sweet Reviews...
>Carolyn is amazing at what she does. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, as well as all 10 of my bridesmaids. She came to my home early and was able to do all of us and the mother of the bride in plenty of time. She is fun and has a great eye for makeup. Thank you Carolyn for helping make my day perfect. =
>Your make-up abilities are superb. It never looks plastered or caked on. Always naturally gorgeous and photographs amazingly well. Plus, you are super fun and it would be a joy for the bride to be with you.
>Thanks so much for doing my make-up on my wedding day. It made such a difference in the pictures. I had some bridals taken a couple weeks earlier and looking at the difference in the pictures is amazing. I still look like myself and you didn't add too much makeup but having you do it helped accent my features and the pictures turned out much better. It was also a lifesaver to know i didn't have to worry about doing my make-up myself, having you help with that aspect of things made the day run much more smoothly and took alot of stress off me on such an important day. Thanks again for your help and I loved how it turned out.
